Battle Points

Coins Classification

Points in Battle of the Sounds are powered by two types of coins: Combat Coins and Fan Coins. Combat Coins, awarded solely by the judges, reflect each contender’s performance in the battle arena. Fan Coins, on the other hand, are gathered throughout the week as fans cast their votes across the competition’s platforms. For a full breakdown of how these points are awarded, refer to the Judging Criteria.

Points Breakdown

Contestants can earn one of three point values based on the total coins they collect in each round:

  • 3 points for a win
  • 1 point for a tie.
  • 0 points for a loss.

The competitor with the most coins at the end of each round is awarded 3 points for a victory, while their opponent receives 0 points. A tie grants each competitor 1 point. For example, if Contestant A earns 12 Combat Coins and Contestant B earns 5, Contestant A secures 3 points for that round.

However, Fan Coins can shift the score. If, in the following week, Contestant B’s fan support surpasses Contestant A’s (e.g., 4011 Fan Coins to 3099), Contestant B receives an additional 3 points, resulting in an even 3-3 score for that battle.

Battle Ranking Board

Contestants are grouped into eight nations, with each nation’s standing on the Battle Ranking Table determined by the cumulative points earned by its members. At the end of the final week, the top three nations will receive the Gold, Silver, and Bronze rewards.

Additional Rewards

While the top-performing nations receive the grand prizes, individual excellence will also be celebrated. Prizes will be awarded to standout champions in specific genres, such as the Rap Battle, to honor exceptional performances across different categories.
